Accessibility Statement
Danube Private University GmbH (DPU) strives to make its digital services accessible in accordance with the Federal Act on Accessibility Requirements for Products and Services (BaFG), Federal Law Gazette I No. 76/2023, as amended.
This accessibility statement applies to the website dp-uni.ac.at.
Description of services
a) Website
DPU operates a public website providing comprehensive information about its study programmes, application procedures and services. For example, study and examination regulations, sample study contracts and study guides are published, and further information on individual study programmes can be obtained via a contact form. However, the application process itself does not take place directly via the website but by submitting the application documents by post.
b) Contact form
DPU also provides an online contact form for study advice and appointment scheduling.
Compliance status
A website that provides e-commerce services is considered accessible if it is sufficiently perceivable, operable, understandable and robust.
This means, for example, that information is conveyed through more than one sensory channel, font sizes are appropriate, and images are provided with alternative text for screen readers. In addition, identification, security and payment functions must also be designed to be perceivable, operable, understandable and robust.
To meet these requirements, DPU follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 and the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 (version 3.2.1).
This website is fully compliant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA and EN 301 549 (version 3.2.1).
Compliance was determined through an automated self-assessment using the WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool and the Silktide Accessibility Tools (as of September 2025). Individual page content was also checked manually.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is not fully accessible for the following reasons:
PDFs and other documents, as well as videos published before 28 June 2025, are not fully accessible.
Preparation of this accessibility statement
This statement was prepared in October 2025.
The website was evaluated using automated testing tools (WAVE and Silktide) and manual checks of individual page content.
