The DPU offers its Human Medicine students a state-of-the-art degree programme based on innovative technologies and methods, requiring cutting-edge equipment for the various practical trainings.
Modern medical education requires the intensive integration of interactive and practical learning formats to reliably achieve the necessary learning objectives. A Simulation and Learning Centre for training medical skills, as well as a Centre for Medical Image Analysis and Artificial Intelligence, provide the DPU with optimal conditions for this purpose.

The DPU has concluded cooperation agreements with hospitals in Austria and Germany that provide the infrastructure and supervision of Human Medicine students for bedside teaching (UaK), clinical traineeships (Famulaturen), and the Clinical Practical Year (CPY), in alignment with the teaching at the DPU.
