Lengenfeld Golf Club blends into the landscape and typical Wachau flair unlike any other golf course in the region, and is situated a mere 10 minutes away from the DPU.

It is surrounded and characterized by the neighbouring vineyards, which are also entwined into the course, making it the most unique of it kind. The holes are accompanied by pine trees, mixed forest and countless water hazards, which make the Kamptal course, in particular, a true challenge.

The club provides the optimal offer for all levels, starting with a 6-hole par 3 short course (ideal for beginners, no handicap required) and completed by its two 18-hole Donauland and Kamptal courses.

During the past years, we have developed a very close relationship to our partner club. The positive response to our students from the club has also allowed us to offer all DPU students attractive club memberships and courses to acquire a handicap. About 50 DPU students regularly make use of this offer and flights of DPU golfers visit the golf course almost daily. Flights and dates are organized and shared in a closed Facebook group (Team DPU Golf).

One of our students, Mr. Maximilian Bruck (+43 (0)664 361655 or, is a certified golf coach and offers courses to acquire a handicap by agreement in cooperation with the golf club.

The club also employs two golf pros, who offer individual coaching or coaching for groups of up to six persons.

Annual membership is available for EUR 370 and an additional fee of EUR 45 per year is charged should members wish the club to take care of the administration of their handicaps.

Communication between the university and the club has been handled by our student Mr. Niels Karberg since 2014. Mr. Karberg can be contacted at +49 (0)173 1629801 or in the event of any queries or concerns.

As part of its annual summer term festival, DPU organises a golf tournament in cooperation with the Golf Club Lengenfeld, to which its students, their parents, scientists, other employees and partners from the dental industry and trade are cordially invited.
