Our PhD programme offers:
- An interdisciplinary curriculum covering genomics, biomedical engineering, artificial intelligence in healthcare, biosensing, and regulatory sciences.
- An individual research project embedded within a research group, with the option to be affiliated with one of the two research sites in Wiener Neustadt or Krems (Lower Austria).
- Entrepreneurial perspectives within a strong “bench-to-bedside” approach.
- Close integration with clinically active experts from partner hospitals to ensure the clinical relevance of research.
- Access to specialized research clusters that combine disease-specific clinical studies with cutting-edge interdisciplinary technologies.
- An innovative co-mentoring model, including a second supervisor from other Danube Private University research groups or partner institutions in academia and clinical practice, complemented by international collaborations.
