Academic Director: Univ.-Prof. Dr. Dr. Dieter Müßig, Rector of Danube Private University (DPU) Krems
The high quality of the Master of Science in Orthodontics (MSc) programme has long been internationally recognised. This is demonstrated by the number of international students from almost 60 nations, e.g. from the USA, SOUTH AFRICA, DUBAI, NEW ZEALAND, who travel to Krems-Stein an der Donau, Lower Austria, especially to attend these courses. In the MSc in Orthodontics programme, the current developments in the field of orthodontics are given high priority. In addition to the treatment of children and adolescents, which is still predominantly practised in orthodontics, the periodontal, functional, pre-prosthetic and aesthetic treatment of adults plays a major role. New treatment techniques and methods that meet the needs of orthodontic adult treatment are taught in detail and in a practical manner. This makes orthodontics a treatment method for (almost) every age, thus significantly expanding the field of orthodontics and offering the orthodontist a valuable addition to their daily practice.
