Humanistic Ideal

Technical progress and a humanistic mission statement are in line with the philosophy of DPU. It sees its task not only in producing highly qualified dentists and physicians, but also in the comprehensive education of mind and soul. DPU students are taught to understand their profession as a service to their fellow humans. Seminars in ethics, integrity, and mindfulness give students the opportunity to develop their individual skills for the benefit of patients.

A Corporate Social Responsibility department was established at DPU and is actively supported by the university administration and the departments of Human and Dental Medicine with projects and donations.

This enables DPU students to integrate themselves as creative and cooperative partners in the international humanitarian community.
