Student Councils

The Student Councils of Dentistry and Human Medicine at the Danube Private University (DPU) are both registered associations and the elected representative bodies of the students of the Faculty of Medicine/Dentistry.

Two student group representatives elected by each study group are appointed to the Student Council, which, through monthly meetings, ensures reliable information exchange between the various study groups and addresses any arising questions and concerns. The Student Councils of Dentistry and Human Medicine, comprising all current student group representatives, in turn elect two Student Council Chairs – one each for the pre-clinical and clinical stages, or for the Bachelor’s and Master’s stages – who are represented in the University Senate.

Regular quality circles with the university management aim to analyse mutual interests quickly and efficiently and to put them into practice.

In addition, in keeping with the humanistic mission statement of the Danube Private University (DPU), the declared goal is to support and initiate social projects.
